How to make voodoo doll ?

Why make a voodoo doll? Because making Voodoo dolls can be a lot of fun. It is an activity that elicits laughter and is food for some great and potentially therapeutic conversation among family and friends.
Invariably, the stereotypical reasons as to why people make Voodoo dolls comes up, and you have an opportunity to discuss who pissed you off, hurt you, and who deserves a good hexing. What a great forum for a self-help group!
Now, I am the first to admit that there are people in this world who deserve as much bad luck as is humanly and spiritually possible. Child molesters, rapists, sadistic and cruel parents, partners, and world leaders, those involved in the trafficking of women and children for prostitution, my ex-husband...I could go on and on. But, I choose not to engage in such practices because they are spiritually toxic to myself, my family, and the universe. There are other, more constructive ways to make an impact that won't subject you or those close to you to the dark forces of the collective shadow of humanity. Few are prepared to deal with such energy. Moreover, there is the law of three that governs our fate as related to our behavior and the choices we make; in short, everything we do will come back to us three-fold. So, don't come crying to me if you decide to stick somebody with a pin with the intent of hurting them and sudden "bad luck" befalls you. Having said that, these instructions are for your entertainment only. Consider yourself warned!

year, try something completely different and unique by learning how to make a Voodoo doll! There are negative connotations with Voodoo dolls, and people are creeped out by the sight of them. Little will they know, though, that the Voodoo doll you will make will be one meant to bring prosperity and positivity.
To make a Voodoo doll for Halloween decorating, you will need the following materials:
- Old t-shirt
- Sharpie marker
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Magazine
- uttons
- Latex paint (any color)
- Paintbrush
- Cotton batting or straw
- Inexpensive doll or an unused doll
Remember that a Voodoo doll does not have to be perfect. In fact, it will look creepier if it is imperfect. If your lines are straight, if your stitching isn't perfect, that's fine. In fact, that's great!
STEP 1 - To begin, place your old t-shirt on a flat surface and draw a rough outline of the doll you'll be covering. Be sure that you're leaving roughly 1/2" of extra fabric all around the doll, as you will need this extra fabric to seam together. Cut the fabric as evenly as you can, but if it's not perfect, do not be concerned.
STEP 2 - Sew the outline of the doll. As you sew, stretch the fabric tightly. Leave a 2" - 3" section open so that you can stuff the doll. Turn the fabric inside out so the seams do not show.
STEP 3 - Stuff the Voodoo doll with either cotton batting, straw, crumbled newspaper, or whatever filling you want to use. Sew the opening closed.
STEP 4 - Add hair to the Voodoo doll using straw. Fold the top edges of the doll inward and stuff the straw inside. Sew the hair in place with a sewing machine or needle and thread. If you cannot find straw, you can use raffia, or any material you desire.
